Presence of sanitation experts in the conference was utilized by using group work and discussions as learning methods. The workshop was also part of Finnish Red Cross sanitation training. In addition, Finnish university students  took the course and earned 2 ECTS credits. The participants got a certificate of the attendance and participation. Based on the outcomes of the pre-conference workshop, a new version of Internet based course Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation (5 ECTS credits) is going to be available in fall 2015.
